Out of Office 🌲🪵🔥🍂⁠⁠That's right this girl is FINALLY going on a weekend getaway. It's been a gruelling fall. Every weekend since mid-August has been a mad dash of photography sessions, fall activities, work and other craziness. ⁠⁠Now my BFF and I are off to the woods for a relaxing cabin adventure to celebrate both of us turning 30! ⁠⁠I could not be more stoked. Do you put away your camping gear in the fall? ❄️ NEW BLOG POST ❄️⁠⁠While many Ontario Parks close their gates by the last weekend of October, there are still plenty of parks open for those adventurous souls who love the cold season. ⁠⁠It’s no secret that winter in Ontario is a long, hard season. In the name of Halloween, let me tell you a spooky

In the name of Halloween, let me tell you a spooky story that happen to my mom and me back in 2014. ⁠⁠First, let me tell you, I'm a woman of science and believe things I can prove with my senses. But I'm also a big ol' scaredy-cat and I don't like scary movies.⁠⁠Back in 2014, my mom and I were on a road trip from Alberta to Ontario, but we took a route through the US. We hadn't made it as far as we liked one night and ended up in Greybull, Wyoming. ⁠⁠There weren't many options to stay, so we ended up at The Historic Hotel Greybull & The Speakeasy, a probation-era hotel that smuggled alcohol from Canada. ⁠⁠But the hotel also boasts about its haunted rooms and historic charm. I made the mistake of reading the ghost story on the menu of the basement restaurant (which was delicious by the way). Turns out this place is labelled as one of the most haunted in the state, with half a dozen spirits being known to haunt the building. ⁠⁠Our room had tall 20-foot tin ceilings, burgundy painted wood floors, and a terrifying rocking chair in the corner.
