It’s July but I’m just starting to make my 2016 travel plans.
We’re in the midst of the dog days of summer here in Southern Ontario, where evenings and weekends are blocked out for relaxing, soaking up the precious sun, and jumping into the nearest body of water.
Summer days in Canada should be treasured. I like to spend them in my hometown and surrounding area.
In the remaining six months of 2016, there’s so much to see and do! Here is what you can expect on my site, Facebook, and Instagram in the coming months.
Quebec City – July
I will be heading back to Quebec City for the long weekend. This much needed four-day trip will be spent in the historic part of the city. It’s been almost 10 years since I last went gallivanting in this cobblestoned city. You can look forward to some photos of the amazing city and to posts about the amazing food I’m going to gobble down.
Vermont – September
I’m heading south of the border, despite the dollar, to road trip the Green Mountains in Vermont. This trip is going to be all about the fall foliage, the beautiful scenery, and photography.
Galapagos – November
My big ticket item this year is a dream vacation to the most stunning, exciting place on earth: The Galapagos Islands. I cannot describe how excited I am for this trip, but I still have a lot to plan, including actually booking it!
Along with these three big travel plans, I have many day trips etched out for the summer and fall. Half the year may already be behind us but there is still so much come to see the world!
Stay curious,
Olivia
